Philosophy on Healing: Solution- Based massage is sleuthing at its best and most interesting: find the source of the pain and keep at it until it is resolved. The appropriate modality may change from session to session. Your body’s heat releases and electrical releases (successful results) help guide our choice of modality.
Exceptional Results: A client had vertigo for the first time in her life and it wouldn’t go away. We worked with her temporal bones using cranial sacral holds. Following the session, the vertigo was gone. In the following week, it started to come back. Pat used her hands on her head the way she remembered my doing it and was able to stop the vertigo herself. After a second session her vertigo has not recurred.
A female client’s migraines get worse with changes in barometric pressure. Full-body cranial sacral therapy once a month keeps her headaches manageable.
Another client’s chronic neck pain had lasted 6 years. After several sessions using massage, cranial sacral therapy, and trigger point therapy, her neck pain vanished.
