Kelley received her Ph.D. in Kinesiology (Doctor of Chiropractic) and studied massage at the Spatech Institute in Massachusetts. Her favorite massage modalities are Swedish and deep tissue, but ultimately she enjoys using her intuition to find what needs to be done. She has always been fascinated by the human body and wanted to learn as much about it as possible from a variety of different perspectives which is why her background is both specific to the body and variable in her approach (i.e. massage, personal training, and chiropractic). Her philosophy on healing is, "Our bodies are adaptable and resilient. We have the power to heal ourselves but may need guidance and education to do so."
Kelley grew up in Massachusetts and moved to Texas in 2006 to pursue her Ph.D., before moving to Oregon in 2010. She has traveled to the Grand Canyon, Hawaii, and Mexico. In regards to her dream vacation, she says, "put me on a beach with a margarita and I'm good." Before becoming a massage therapist, she was a student and a personal trainer, although she remains a personal trainer today as well.
