A native Chicagoan and graduate of the Cortiva Institute, (Loop campus), Emily “believes that healing can be a relaxing and enjoyable experience and that healing the source of the problem is infinitely more effective than putting temporary “band-aids” over the pain.” Her favorite massage modalities include Myofascial Release, Structural Integration, and Swedish relaxation. She can also use deep tissue techniques to work specific areas of pain or stress.
When not working at Elements, Emily continues to work with a team that provides routine dental care for Chicago's youth. She and the team travel across the city to give free exams and cleanings to children whose families are unable to afford private dental/health insurance.
Emily has traveled to 27 of the 50 states, Canada, Guatemala, Italy and Switzerland. While attending college, she lived for one year at the University of Tennessee in Knoxville.
Her dream vacation would be to visit Bolivia’s salt flats “to witness the universe and clouds reflected in the waters collected during the flats’ rainy season.
