"I have worked with several clients who thought they needed to change careers and decreased their active lifestyle due to pain and immobility. One client was a dentist with a busy practice, and was not able to hold dental instruments due to numbness and burning down both arms. After two months of weekly sessions, my client was able to enjoy a pain free work environment, and felt well enough to add dance classes to their physically active life. Another client was a surgeon of eighteen years, who was experiencing similar burning and numbness down both arms along with radiating pain up the neck. After receiving massage, not only did the client's pain go away, but the client started sending their staff members to receive regular massage."
What makes your massages unique?
"Combining a variety of modalities to meet the needs of each client allows each client to experience optimal relief of chronic or acute pain and discomfort. My view of massage therapy is that it is a vital piece to our health and wellbeing in today's fast-paced world. My goal is to connect the mind and body through massage therapy, and improve my clients daily life."

What do you most appreciate when receiving massage?
"Having a therapist listen to my areas of focus so that I receive the massage treatment my body needs. Good communication between the client and therapist is a vital ingredient to a great massage session."
What keeps you passionate about massage therapy?
"No two massage sessions are the same. Each session is like a puzzle and it is up to the therapist to use the best massage techniques to put all the pieces together so that the client may experience the greatest benefit from their massage session. After witnessing the ability of the body to heal itself, with the aid of massage therapy, I know that I have chosen a career that allows me to help clients live the best life possible."Wendy Navas, LMT, MA60685408
