Education – Salter School of Massage Therapy of Tewksbury, MA
MaryAnn's primary specialization is trigger point massage (where knots in muscles are discovered and released). She finds this work fascinating. She graduated top of her class in 2010 and has been performing professional massage ever since. With a never-ending curiosity, she has continued her education at 360 Neuromuscular Therapy in Needham.
She has effectively treated a number of clients with her trigger point and deep tissue work to relieve frozen shoulder, TMJ (TMD), migraine headaches, lower back dysfunctions, sports injuries, and the list goes on. MaryAnn finds that regardless of the number of years that her clients may have lived with restriction, trigger point works.
MaryAnn has a number of clients who give feedback and describe her as a "gifted" massage therapist. This feedback leaves her feeling driven to constantly learn more, improving her massage. Her sister was a massage therapist, shared this passion with her, and became a source of inspiration for MaryAnn.
Trained and fluent in myfacial release, sports massage, and chair massage, she is looking forward to pursuing her passion (massage therapy) into her retirement years.
