Introduction to Elements Therapeutic Massage in Montclair
Joe Thornton Sep 11, 2012
My wife, Laura, and I are the proud owners of a new Elements Therapeutic Massage studio now being constructed in Montclair. We are located on Bloomfield Avenue in the historic Hinck Building near the Clairidge Theaters. We’ve been working on the space all summer and expect the build-out to take only a few more weeks, letting us open in early November, just in time for the holidays.
We chose Montclair as the site of our first and flagship studio because of the town’s diversity and eclecticism. We had fallen in love with Montclair more than a decade ago when we first visited the Clairidge and dined at the local restaurants. We’ve been back many times since and had always wanted to find a way to join and contribute to the local community. Elements will let us do that.
I’d also like to mention our Manager, Claire Cohen, who doesn’t really need an introduction to the town. Claire is a lifelong resident of Montclair. Many of you will remember her popular and successful shop on Church Street, Copabananas. Claire is a local artist and also has worked professionally as a massage therapist. She brings a Montclair flair to the Elements studio, while ensuring that all of our clients feel right at home and receive the very best massage they deserve and expect. We’re very pleased and excited that Claire chose to join us in launching Elements in Montclair.
In later posts, we’ll get into what Elements offers Montclair, and why we believe you will enjoy the best massage experience you’ve ever had in our studio. You’ll have the comfort of knowing Elements is locally owned and operated, that we stand behind the services we offer, and will make sure our clients are satisfied each and every time they visit our studio.
Meanwhile, I’d like to invite you to stop by our tent at this Saturday’s South Park Street Grand Re-Opening. We’ll be there from 10 to 6, offering free chair massages and more info on Elements. We’re also giving away several free massages for when the studio is open, as well as free upgrades like hot stone and extended massage sessions. For those who enter, we’re drawing one name per week for the free massage and upgrades until we open in November. If it’s not convenient for you to visit with us in person this Saturday, you can also enter the drawing via the links on our website and Facebook page.
We look forward to serving the Montclair community and meeting all of you in person. Please feel free to contact us with any questions you have or if you’d like to join our list for updates on our opening and other events.
