I like how professional the environment and staff are. The facility ambiance is lovely with its dim lighting, smells of aromatherapy and peaceful music wafting in the background. I have had many regular massages in my past and Alyson gave me the most wonderful massage I have ever had. She has a very amiable and respectful personality, perfect for the first time massage receiver, I am a student and work lifting all day. Thus, I got a lot of neck and back pain. I have never had someone work out my knots so gently yet thoroughly, The massage not only got rid of much of my pain but was a much needed stress relieving and relaxing experience.
If you suffer from back pain as I do, regular massage sessions are definitely needed in the beginning. After that, you may space out your massages more. Alyson is truly a gifted masseuse.
I began my massage career after being a stay at home mom and pre school teacher. While staying at home with my children, I was very involved with volunteer work. I was even Mobile county PTA president at one time,
I attended Blue Cliff Career college in 2009, taking nigh classes while I worked during the day and graduated top of my class. I immediately began work in a chiropractor office as a massage therapist and learned a great deal about medical massage at that time, I came to Elements as a client and enjoyed the experience and atmosphere so much that I began to work here. I have left Elements several times for different opportunities and experiences but I have always found my way back and enjoy working in this type of environment. I am able to take the techniques that I learned in medical, sports, and spa industries and incorporate them into my massage here.
I believe my specialty is Deep Swedish. Meaning I like to give you a relaxing massage that is still deep enough to get the problem areas worked out. I also enjoy hot stones, sports and medical massage. I love being able to help relieve someone's headaches! Prenatal is no problem for me because I have three children of my own.
I enjoy traveling with my family, even if it means a quick road trip. I would love to retire and move to Key West one day.
