Heather’s innovative and versatile massage techniques are inspired by her compassionate nature, international travels and advanced education. As a magna cum laude graduate of the New York College of Health Professions she studied deep tissue, Swedish and Asian massage modalities which she incorporates into her sessions. Her continued education earned her certifications in Pre-natal, Aromatherapy, Himalayan Salt Stone and Basalt Hot Stone massage.
Heather’s reassuring touch is comforting but firm. Her hands move like a conductor, as she stays present with her client, regulating the pressure of massage while flowing like a melodic symphony. She is a phenomenal conversationalist, but also perceptive to providing a peaceful sanctuary during her sessions.
When she is not in the studio, Heather is passionate about traveling, cooking, health coaching and volunteering in the underserved community where she teaches nutrition and culinary to diabetics and adults in recovery. Recently graduating from Long Island University she earned her Bachelors of Science in Nutrition and Dietetics. In addition to serving others through massage, she plans to become a registered dietitian where she can incorporate the beneficial effects of massage along with addressing dietary needs to create an all encompassing therapeutic approach to her clients.
