Massage Therapist Position

We have full schedules and are seeking responsible part time and full time Therapeutic Massage Therapists to join our team. Recent Graduates are welcome to apply.  Elements Massage™ was founded by a massage therapist with a deep commitment to delivering the best therapeutic, healing massage experiences.

We will provide:

  • $500 Signing Bonus
  • A rewarding team environment with a singular focus on massage where you are paired with the right client to encourage lasting professional relationships.
  • A nurturing, professional and fun environment with open access to owner and lead Therapist(s)
  • We focus primarily on treatment and relaxation massage and do not sell products.
  • We have also recently added Aromatherapy, Integrative Reflexology and Cupping to our available services and these are all additional pay, if interested in working with these modalities or add-ons.
  • Your schedule will be tailored as much as possible to your scheduling needs/requests and this includes shift lengths, as well. Shift lengths can vary from 4 - 6 hours per your request and all shifts include breaks.
  • We pay for licensing (renewals) and we cover most tuition for continuing education courses, if applicable to our business. We encourage your growth in new areas.
  • Free monthly massage and Friends and Family discounts on massages and gift cards are available.
  • We offer a flexible and generous pay scale with opportunities to increase based on experience and reaching milestones each quarter during our quarterly reviews.

Our Preferences:

  • Deep Tissue, Sports, Swedish, MF, Trigger Point are some examples of skills, which will be called on regularly; Aromatherapy, Prenatal, Hot Stone certifications a plus (we will train you in all if interested).
  • Strong communication and evaluation skills to assess client needs, establish treatment plan and deliver professional treatment recommendations.
  • Valid State License and Professional Liability Insurance required.

Sales and Customer Service Position

We offer a fun and motivating atmosphere with additional bi-weekly and monthly financial incentives and free monthly massages. We also welcome students with flexible schedules.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The Sales/Client Service Specialist (SCSS) is directly responsible for client conversions and coordinating front desk operations.

The SCSS is responsible for client conversions in order to meet studio goals and quotas to ensure growth and profitability through the sales of:
Memberships to the Wellness Program
-Packages
-Gift Cards
-Additional Visits (Rebooking)
-Upgraded sessions such as longer sessions or hot stone

The SCSS is also responsible for adhering to established "Service Path" procedures and processes to ensure an "Elements Experience" including, but not limited to:
-Greeting every client with a smile.
-Creating a calm environment.
-Answering phones professionally and converting phone calls into appointments.
-Demonstrating complete knowledge of our massage model, therapist skill levels and price structure.
-Proficiency with massage therapy terminology.
-Matching clients and therapists correctly based on our level system and client's problem areas.
-Mastering our system, Mind Body through accurate scheduling and completing the retail sales process.
-Addressing emergency scheduling issues quickly and professionally.
-Communicating with clients to determine areas of improvement within the Service Path and complete client satisfaction.
-Providing helpful responses to requests from clients and involve management as needed.
-Addressing client requests and disputes professionally and efficiently.
-Communicating effectively with coworkers.
-Providing timely and appropriate communication with studio management.
-Being flexible.
-Actively participating in staff meetings.
-Facilities management, including but not limited to, hourly studio checks to ensure massage rooms and restrooms are clean and properly stocked and light cleaning to either prepare studio for opening or closing.
-Completing tasks by deadlines as assigned by supervisor. (Example: Communicating with members and clients who have not visited the studio in the past 45 days with the goal of scheduling their next session.)
-Other Duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS
Sales experience (1+ year preferred)
Customer service skills
Computer proficiency-Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, Internet Explorer
Retail or industry experience, a plus
Web-based scheduling, a plus
Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions (written and verbal) is essential
Ability to remain flexible in a constantly changing environment
Ability to remain confident and calm under stress
