Ashley | Massage Therapist

Testimonials

"Ashley is awesome. She listens intently and really delivers. I would recommend her to anyone!"

"The therapist listened to me and did exactly what I wanted rather than a normal routine. Also, Ashley is skilled enough to dig out deep tissue knots without leaving me sore and bruised. I could feel knots releasing and when I left, even the chronic soreness was gone. I am over the top impressed with Elements."

"Ashley was amazing! She gave me the most relaxing hot stone massage I have ever had! I felt that I melted into the massage table! I will definitely be back, but for longer than an hour!!!"

Why is it that whenever something hurts you, your immediate reaction is to touch directly where the source is? Easy! You want to relieve yourself of pain and discomfort!

Ever since Ashley was little, she has always been the one in her family to help heal their ailments. Whether it was to assist her mother in making soup when others were sick, assist with first aid, or to gently massage them. Her mother believed whole heartedly that's the area Ashley was best in--her healing touch.  Ashley has been practicing professional therapeutic massage for over 3 years, but she's been practicing the art of healing touch for decades.

Ashley attended massage school in New Mexico right after high school where she was exposed to a whole world of what she already loved to do. She then learned techniques and modalities and became an expert on quality massage and exceeding clients' expectations.

Fortunately, that wasn't enough for Ashley. She noticed that the majority of the community suffer from unrelieved emotional stress and mental exhaustion where it can manifest physically and even become a bigger problem down the road like with injuries or conditions. That's where her areas of focus come into the picture.

Ashley loves doing all types of massage techniques and modalities to help customize the clients' experience. "No massage is the same. Everybody I see is a new canvas for me to work with. Let your body do the talking, my hands are excellent listeners." -Ashley

“This was the first time I had a massage here. Michael was a wonderful person. He did the job brilliantly and I was feeling comfortable throughout the massage. I will be again going there after a month. I will have no hesitation to recommend my friends for the same.”

“Michael was very effective in treating my shoulder, it is perfectly fine now. :-)”

"Very thoughtful therapists who take the time to listen to your needs and understand your pain points. You leave feeling so much better."

Michael had a strong desire to find a career in which he could help athletes alleviate and heal from sports related injuries and to simply prevent future injuries.  By chance he stumbled on massage while looking for effective methods to treat sports related injuries and after a couple of weeks of doing research and exploring various massage schools, he found that he was drawn to the Colorado School of Healing Arts.  Even though his original focus was on sports massage, the short time he spent at CSHA proved to be an effective catalyst in fueling a new dedicated love of massage as a whole.

While sports is still his favorite type of massage, Michael strives to continue in developing his skills in a variety of modalities, and to further understand the mechanical and physiological effects that massage has on the body.  What he enjoys most is using massage to put the body in a parasympathetic state, which stimulates "rest and digest". This is done to facilitate relaxation, promote healing and improve flexibility so his clients can spend their days pain free.

Stephanie | Massage Therapist

Education: Boulder College of Massage Therapy - Boulder, CO
Specialties: Deep tissue, Swedish, Sports Massage, Myofascial Release, Neuromuscular Therapy, Trigger Point Therapy, Muscle Energy Techniques, Shiatsu Massage

Testimonials

“Stephanie is amazing and is the first therapist I felt like truly knew what she was doing, not just nodding her head at what I said was problematic. Great massage AND advice. I look forward to making massage a part of an effort to be healthier overall.”

“Stephanie listened to what I wanted and my expectations were exceeded.”

“Great therapists including Carla, Jamie and Stephanie: excellent deep tissue.”

"Love Stephanie. She's awesome!"

"I've had several spinal fusions and I will not just trust anyone to work on me. However, the knowledge and care I have received is amazing. I can't tell you how many times I've come in with severe pain and always leave feeling such relief. My daughter referred me and I give a plug to Elements whenever the conversation up. And yes, I have tried other massage chains and they fail in my opinion.”

Stephanie has found, with the guidance of a skilled massage therapist, that we are able to not only alleviate stress, but also begin to understand the multi-faceted and interconnected causes of chronic pain, tension or injury, while beginning to correct postural misalignments, repetitive motion injuries, muscle imbalances, even shallow chest breathing. In her experience, the body heals best when gently guided in the natural direction of proper alignment and function. Even, deep and therapeutic massage can be applied gently within the body’s natural limits to encourage an effortless unwinding of muscle and surrounding fascial tissue.
Stephanie approaches massage therapy as a dance between body and mind in which the client conducts and leads the music as she assesses, choreographs and performs the dance in alliance with the needs of the client, meeting them where they are in the present moment.

People would describe her style as intuitive, comprehensive, detail and results oriented. She believes the most important and satisfying bodywork focuses on providing relief and results in harmony with the innate wisdom of the client’s body. She enjoys educating clients about their bodies and empowering them with quick, effective ways to continue improving their wellbeing.
