Education: I graduated from Center for Natural Wellness School of massage Therapy in Albany.
How long have you been practicing therapeutic massage? I have been practicing massage since 2015.
Why did you become a massage therapist? Daily activities of work, home and family impact our mental and physical health. It’s important to hit the pause button. Through massage I hope to inspire others to hit pause to restore their mind and bodies.
If you could practice anywhere, where would it be? I love to restorative sound and feel of water. My dreamscape would be on the shores of the ocean, a lake, or a river. BUT, I am happy anywhere I am needed to provide compassionate and restorative touch with massage therapy.
Philosophy of Healing: It is important to quiet the mind first. Massage may begin with scalp massage to quiet the message center. I am also passionate about listening to client’s requests as well as educating my clients.
Why should people have massage? Massage plays a role in preventative health and wellness. Massage reduces stress and anxiety, increases relaxation and improves sleep. Many illnesses begin as a result of stress, anxiety, and lack of sleep.
Favorite Modalities and why? My favorite modality is Swedish. It increases relaxation, improves muscle function and can assist with postural changes.
