Do you believe in new beginnings?
Hello my name is Laura I have been a massage therapist for two years, I recently moved to Denver from the Windy City, Chicago IL, where I received my training in massage therapy. To be honest, when I made the decision to get enrolled in the program for massage therapy I had no idea what I was doing. I mostly did it because my friends and some of family members had previously suggested me to consider becoming a massage therapist. They said that I had hands of a healer. Also at that time, I was going through a huge life transition where I was in so much need for healing--spiritually, emotionally, and physically.
During the program massage became that way of healing that I was unconsciously searching for, and my body was aware of and grateful for it. Bodywork integrates many aspects of my life that therapy couldn’t accomplish. Don’t get me wrong: I am not saying that therapy isn’t helpful> It was until a certain extent, but there was a gap where I was still restless and I couldn’t understand why. As I progressed throughout the massage program, I started feeling how massage was impacting my life and integrating the three dimensions of self: mind, body, spirit.
If you believe in the power of touch and how it can heal you emotionally, physically and spirituality you are in the right place. Massage can deliver in countless of different and creative ways that can be modified to your needs. Whether you are looking for a therapeutic, deep tissue, relaxation, you name it--I will do my best to make sure you experience physical, emotional, and spiritual restoration and make sure you leave this studio believing in new beginnings.
