Summary

The Sales Associate / Customer Service (SACS) role is directly responsible for client conversions and coordinating front desk operations.

Description

In order to meet studio growth and profitability goals, the SACS is responsible for client conversions and sales in the following areas:

  • Memberships to the Elements Wellness Program™
  • Packages
  • Gift Cards
  • Additional Visits (Rebooking)
  • Upgraded sessions such as longer sessions, Himalayan Salt Stone, and/or AromaRitual

The SACS is responsible for adhering to established “Service Path” process and procedures to ensure a flawless “Elements Experience” including, but not limited to:

  • Religiously following, practicing, and applying the established KNOWETM and sales process (MANDATORY) – expected conversion rate of 40% or higher at individual level is a must
  • Accountable for goal/objective setting and achievement
  • Greeting every client with a smile, by their first name, and with a handshake
  • Making a great first impression, building rapport, and identifying client’s needs resulting in membership sales
  • Creating a warm, inviting environment for clients
  • Meeting or exceeding the needs of the client – taking all opportunities to exceed client expectations without making unreasonable commitments
  • Proactively seek opportunities to wow clients
  • Maintaining timely and professional communication via lead calls, appointment bookings, membership questions, and appointment confirmations
  • Maintaining focus and avoiding errors under high stress situations
  • Maintaining a positive working relationship with clients and coworkers when under stress at all times including peak client hours
  • Demonstrating complete knowledge of the studio’s massage model, therapist skill levels, and pricing structure (including proficiency in massage therapy terminology)
  • Matching clients and therapists correctly based on established Elements Massage leveling system and client indicated problem areas
  • Mastering Mind Body (MBO) through accurate scheduling
  • Addressing emergency scheduling issues quickly and professionally
  • Addressing client requests and disputes professionally and efficiently
  • Communicating effectively with clients and coworkers
  • Providing timely and appropriate communication with studio management
  • Being flexible in a changing environment
  • Actively participating in staff meetings
  • Sets high standards of excellence in quality, productivity, and service – including ownership of growth and development through available Elements Online University
  • Actively participates in role playing, training, and coaching sessions
  • Facilities management, including but not limited to, hourly studio checks to ensure massage rooms and restrooms are clean and properly stocked
  • Completing tasks by deadlines as assigned by manager (Example: Communicating with members and clients who have not visited the studio in the past 45 days with the goal of scheduling their next session)
  • Complying with all HIPAA rules and regulations and/or applicable state privacy and security laws
  • Other Duties as assigned

What You Need

  • Minimum of 6 months sales experience (1 year preferred)
  • Very strong customer service skills – friendly and enthusiastic
  • Strong team player mindset
  • Retail or massage industry experience a plus
  • Web-based scheduling a plus
  • Ability to work on weekends and evenings (must be able to work at least one day during weekend)
  • Ability to remain confident and calm under stress
  • Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions (written and verbal)
  • Participate in local studio marketing and various marketing initiatives as necessary
  • Basic computer proficiency: Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, Web Browsers (Internet Explorer, Firefox, Chrome)
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States
