Sylvia has spent her career learning to help and care for others. Her nursing career offered her experience in environments ranging from Maternity Ward to ICU. In all of these places sometimes the most comforting thing she did to patients was to hold their hand and rub their backs, arms or legs while a procedure was being done.
After knee sugary, Sylvia had muscle pain and discovered that no other profession owns the muscles like Massage Therapy. Once Sylvia's children were grown she knew her calling was to enter Massage School.
Sylvia's style is diverse because she realizes that people need many different forms of relief. She is Pre-Natal Certified, has taken workshops in Myofascial, can perform a relaxing massage all the way through highly focused therapeutic (she spends time at Fort Belvoir working with Veterans).
To Sylvia, people's needs are like a puzzle...she strives to determine the best way to put the unique pieces in place. You won't get a cookie cutter massage from this therapist.
