It is NOT a quality rating scale, but an indicator of how much pressure or 'depth' a therapist can bring to your massage.

Level 1:  A light pressure, relaxing massage

Level 2:  A medium pressure massage with no specific trigger point work

Level 3:  A medium to deep pressure massage with trigger point work.  This is where we get the "knots" out.

Level 4:  A very deep pressure massage with trigger point work

Abby is a 2+ on our pressure scale.  She gives a wonderful Swedish massage with long, relaxing strokes and loves incorporating hot stones into her massages.

Abby graduated from the Cortiva Massage Therapy Institute in Watertown, MA.  Her philosophy on healing is that "we are our own best healers.  Massage can open pathways between the mind and body to allow each person to heal themselves in their own individual way."

Agusti is a level 3+ on our pressure scale.  He is amazing at Deep Tissue massage but also has the ability to lighten up and give an excellent Swedish massage as well.  He is also one of our massage therapists that specializes in sports massage!

Agusti graduated from the Cortiva Massage Therapy Institute in Watertown, MA.  His philosophy on healing is to give his clients what they need to make them feel better right away as well as continually giving them what they need to feel better long term.

Belinda is a 3+ on our pressure scale.  She has a very positive touch and is great at releasing hidden "knots", especially those in the shoulder area.

Belinda graduated from the Lincoln Technical Institute in Brockton, MA where she received her Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork Technology Certificate.  Her philosophy on healing is a positive touch is needed for a human's well-being and happiness and is necessary for human survival.  In the fast-paced lifestyle of today, we must take good care of our own physical, emotional and mental wellness.

Christine is a level 3 on our pressure scale.  She gives a very therapeutic, yet relaxing massage that combines Deep Tissue and Sweedish Massage techniques.  Christine also gives a wonderful prenatal massage.

Christine graduated from the Cortiva Massage Therapy Institute in Watertown, MA.  Her philosophy on healing is that "the human body is directed by universal laws; a natural, innate ability to develop, heal, and adapt as long as the body is kept free of interferences".

Daisy is a level 3+ on our pressure scale.  She has a very positive energy about her and gives an excellent therapeutic massage.  Daisy loves Integrative Massage (combining all techniques into one massage session).

Daisy graduated from the Cortiva Massage Therapy Institute.  Her philosophy on healing is that "the power to heal comes from self, you just need to be open to it".

Daniel is a 4 therapist on our pressure scale.  Daniel gives both an excellent swedish and deep tissue massage and he loves switching between the two.  Stretching is also incorporated into most of Daniel's massage sessions.

Daniel attended the Career Education Institute in Somerville, MA and graduated in August 2005.  His Philosophy on healing is "trust your body and what it tells you because with a combination of self-awareness, hard work, and massage, most muscular issues can be managed."

Danielle is a level 3 on our pressure scale. She has the amazing ability to find and release knots and gives an over all great deep tissue massage.

Danielle graduated from the Southeastern Technical Institute.  Her philosophy on healing is that "there are other alternatives to medicine when trying to cure health problems and conditions".

Doug is a 3+ on our pressure scale.  He gives a wonderful, therapeutic deep tissue massage and loves to give relaxing Swedish massages with deep tissue in the areas it's needed.

Doug graduated from Georgia Southern University with a B.S. in Recreation.  His philosophy on healing is simple, "listen to your body!"

Ed is a 3+ on our pressure scale.  He gives a great sports massage and because of his yoga background, there is a good amount of stretching incorporated into his massages.

Ed graduated from the University of Connecticut with a B.A. in Social Psychology.  His philosophy on healing is that healing is a state of wholeness; it is characterized by a healthy connection to oneself and the external environment.

Erin is a 3 on our pressure scale.  She gives a great combination of both deep tissue and relaxing swedish massage.

Erin graduated from the Cortiva Massage Therapy Institute in Boston, MA.  Her philosophy on healing is "take care of yourself, massage included."

Evan is a 3+ on our pressure scale.  He gives an excellent combination of relaxing Swedish and firm Deep Tissue massage.  He is also trained and highly skilled in Sports massage and Myofascial Release.

Evan graduated from the Bancroft School of Massage Therapy and was certified as a LMT, and is also Nationally certified.  Evan also has a B.S. in Occupational Safety from Keene State College.  His philosophy on healing is "treating everyone to the best of his knowledge and ability, allowing muscle and tissue to correct themselves through patience, adaptive pressure, and persistence."

Jillian is a 3 on our pressure scale and she loves to give Prenatal and Swedish massages.

Jillian attended Cortiva Institute of Boston, MA as well as Western New England College.  Her philosophy on healing is that "healing does not always require a prescription or surgery.  Sometimes all the body needs for healing is to be listened to and heard through touch".

Kanchala is a 2+ on our pressure scale.  She loves giving massages that incorporate different techniques because they each have their own unique properties.  She focuses on whatever is bothering her clients - using her experience, knowledge and skills to help relieve stress and pain.

Kanchala graduated from the Cortiva Massage Therapy Institute in Watertown, MA and received training from the Wat Po Traditional Medical School in Thailand.  Her philosophy on healing is to smile, enjoy life and take care of yourself and others.

Katrina is a 2+ on our pressure scale.  Her gentle touch makes for an amazing, relaxing Swedish massage.

Katrina graduated from the Cortiva Massage Therapy Institute in Watertown, MA.  Her philosophy on healing is "the mind and body are more connected than we generally realize. Working on one will help heal the other."

Meghan is a 2+ on our pressure scale and gives an amazing, relaxing Swedish massage.  If you need to relax, her massage is guaranteed to melt away stress.

Meghan graduated from the Cortiva Institute of Massage Therapy in Watertown, MA. She also received a B.A. in Psychology from Eastern Connecticut State University.  Her philosophy on healing is that "relaxation and self awareness are extremely important to heal yourself and massage helps you achieve both".

Michael is a 3 on our pressure scale.  He is wonderful at using his knowledge of massage therapy to help find and release those pesky knots without having to apply too much pressure, while still being able to go deep when needed.

Michael graduated from the Cortiva Massage Therapy Institute in Watertown, MA.  His philosophy on healing is a whole body approach.  He believes there is a strong connection between the mind, the body and the soul.  We must nurture ourselves through every part of our being.  Only then will we receive true balance.

Nicole is a 3 on our pressure scale.  She is great at giving a relaxing Swedish massage and using just enough deep tissue and pressure in the areas that need it.

Nicole graduated from the Elizabeth Grady School of Massage in Medford, MA.  Her philosophy on healing is that "it starts from the inside out" and that massage is a great way to induce the process.

Staci is a level 3+ on our pressure scale.  She is trained in deep tissue, prenatal and swedish massage but she really loves to work on the neck and shoulder areas and help relieve those pesky tension headaches. 

Staci graduated from the Dovestar Institute of Holistic Massage in Carver, MA where she was granted her LMT certification.  Her philosophy on healing is that "receiving regular massages create awareness. We need to be more aware of our bodies in order to take better care of ourselves."
