GLENDALE, Ariz. - Nov. 1, 2010 - Elements Therapeutic Massage studio of Glendale, Ariz., has announced it will offer free 30-minute massages to active military personnel and veterans on Veterans Day November 11, 2010.
This is the second year Elements of Glendale, located at 19420 N. 59th Ave., has offered the promotion after the suggestion from staff members.
“With Luke Air Force Base right here in our community, many of our massage therapists have active or retired military in their family, and we all wanted a way to thank them for their service,” said Shauna Boyd, owner of Elements Therapeutic Massage of Glendale. “It was such a rewarding experience last year that we decided to bring the promotion back.”
In addition to the Veterans Day promotion, Elements will also participate in the Nov. 6 "Glendale Celebrates Veterans" event held at the Westgate City Center from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Veterans can stop by the Elements booth to sign up for free massages.
“The best part of this experience is watching the members of the military visit while waiting for their massages. They all seem to really enjoy themselves,” added Boyd.
Military personnel must show proper ID or paperwork when booking the massage. Upgrades to 55, 80 and 110-minute or Hot Stone massages are available upon request for an additional fee.
