Elements therapeutic massage to Host its First National Convention

Jul 29, 2009

HIGHLANDS RANCH, Colo. – July 29, 2009 – Breckenridge, Colo. in August sounds like good therapy. And that’s why elements therapeutic massage, one of the fastest-growing franchisors of massage therapy studios in America, will hold its first annual national convention there at The Village at Breckenridge August 10-12.

“This is a huge milestone for our company,” said Kyle Gjersee, senior vice president of operations and chief operating officer for elements therapeutic massage. “We are excited to come together for our first convention where franchise owners can connect with each other and strengthen the brand from the inside out. We have a full schedule of presentations, breakout sessions and a franchisee award ceremony, as well as fun local events like riding down the famous 3,000-foot Alpine Slide.”

Founder Michele Merhib will share a look at elements’ history, from the concept’s birth of one studio in Aurora, Colo. in 2006 to now, with more than 95 locations sold throughout the U.S. Industry experts such as imassage, a massage continuing education and consulting company, and Castine Consulting, a company that uses a video-based initiative to produce training materials, will present best practices and the latest trends in the industry.

Participating sponsors include Associated Bodywork and Massage Professionals (ABMP), MindBody Online software system, GetMembers.com, Massage Warehouse and Henry Wurst, Inc. Sponsors will participate in round-table discussions, be available for questions from franchise owners and set up booths with information about their companies and products offered.
