Summary:

"For the past three years I have dedicated much of my life to learning and applying numerous bodywork techniques and refining my healing art. I have a deep understanding of injury and rehabilitation, as well as specific anatomical knowledge of the human body, both of which benefit my clients in their quest for wellness."

Massage School:

  • Cortiva Institute of Massage Therapy, 750 hour program. Graduated in 2011.

Most Experience Treating:

  • Fatigue
  • Postural Deviation
  • Stress-related Pathology
  • Injury post-rehab

Success Stories:

"A client had suffered a significant shoulder injury and had lost the ability to lift her dominant arm outwards in any direction past 90 degrees. After specific myofascial release techniques in and around her rotator cuff, she regained full function and range of motion. It is a wonderful experience to provide healing when and where it is most needed."

What makes your massages unique?

"I focus on finding an appropriate pace and depth of a session, where I can be present and accomplish the goals of my clients, while also applying the most specific and appropriate techniques. Overall, I prefer slow, long, and deliberately applied strokes that follow the body's natural fascial and structural direction."

What do you most appreciate when receiving massage:

"Presence; I feel it is most important to feel confidence and connection from a therapist, as well as communication. Focused bodywork is felt more than the 'routine massage,' and I think most people can respectively feel the difference."

What keeps you passionate about massage therapy?

"The ever-present need to advance. Every day brings a new challenge I haven't faced. The deeper my knowledge, the greater my skill, and the greater my skill, the closer I come to practicing massage at my fullest potential."
