Carolyn | LMT/Massage Therapist Supervisor
Education: I graduated with honors from Springfield Technical Community College with an Associate's degree in Science in Massage Therapy.
Favorite Massage Modalities: I love Thai Massage, it implements a lot of yoga moves and poses which helps with flexibility. Trigger Point Therapy targets the source of radiating pain. Increasing client's flexibility and decreasing pain are important parts of massage therapy.
Philosophy of Healing: We all should try to make time every day to be stress free. Our mind and body needs this to be healthy and happy. Accomplishing this is not easy; we are diverse individuals trying to adapt to changes in our lives. Massage is a great stepping stone to create some stress-free time. Therapeutic touch increases proper movement, circulation and relaxation to create harmony with body and mind.
We asked our Therapists to Describe their own style and here's what they had to say for themselves: I can adjust well from light pressure to Deep Tissue adding a lot influences with Thai Massage, Myofascial and Trigger Point techniques.
Jamie | LMT/Lead Therapist
Education: I earned my BA at Otterbein College in Westerville, OH. I also graduated with honors from the American Institute of Alternative Medicine in Columbus, OH where I received my massage therapy training. I am licensed in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
Favorite Massage Modalities: Neuromuscular Therapy including trigger point release and myofascial release; Swedish; Hot Stone or Hot Bamboo massage
Philosophy of Healing: Our bodies are in a constant process of maintaining the healthiest state they can achieve. Healing is part of that intricate and complex process. When we can support and encourage the intrinsic healing nature of ourselves, we can reach a balance and wholeness. During a massage, I have the highest respect for this process. I massage with intention, purpose, and mindfulness to create an atmosphere in which the body may heal itself.
We asked our Therapists to describe their style and this is what they had to say for themselves: My massage stye is 100% client-wellness focused. I incorporate flexible pressure depths and a variety of techniques in different ways to create a unique treatment for each client. A seamless transition from technique to technique and consistent even pressure maximizes the opportunity for relaxation and positive therapeutic results.
Hideko | LMT
Education: Space Coast Health Institute, FL, Nationally Certified (NCTMB) and Licensed in FL/MA, Certified Foot Reflexologist, Reiki Master
Favorite Massage: Swedish, Deep Tissue and Foot Reflexology
Philosophy of Healing: I believe that prevention is the key to maintain your own health and I am a strong believer in holistic remedies, as they have no bad side effects and focus more on the body's natural healing process. Natural healing is more intuitive and it's important to listen to your own body's rhythm. I really love what I do and find it very rewarding when clients tell me that I am able to help them ease their pain or provide them some means to relax. The more treatments people receive, the less stress they will have in their lives. Massage therapy is not a luxury anymore, but an essential part of routine health maintenance. I am very proud to be part of a health care profession that can make a difference in people's lives and offer a positive outlook. Massage can enhance and make people feel better about themselves physically, mentally, emotionally as well as spiritually, as they are all connected to each other to make a whole body.
We asked our Therapists to Describe their own style and here's what they had to say for themselves: I combine different techniques that I have learned over the years into my Swedish massage including some Acupressure, Foot Reflexology and Deep Tissue Massage. Sometimes I combine Reiki depending on the client's needs. I specialize in a Deep Pressure Massage and sometimes incorporate Shiatsu techniques.
Andrea | LMT
Education: Cortiva Institute - Boston. Licensed in MA.
Favorite Massage Modalities: I like Swedish Massage the best for its flow and overall relaxation benefits, and I also enjoy Myofacial Release.
Philosophy on Healing: As a Massage Therapist I believe in nurturing others. Massage makes a wonderful addition to anyone's wellness program, and has a wonderful healing impact: boosting immunity, reducing anxiety, relieving muscular tension, and improving circulation. Today, there are so many modalities of massage available - from Deep Tissue to the gentlest of touch therapies - that from infancy into our senior years we can all benefit from.
Laurie (LP) | LMT
Education: I graduated in 2010 from the Easthampton Massage School with 500 hours of massage therapy instruction.
Favorite Massage Modalities: Over the years, I have received great benefits from Chinese and Japanese medicinal treatments. I am a firm believer in acupuncture and as a result enjoy the meridian work of shiatsu massage and reflexology. Active trigger points can also clog energy flow so I enjoy deep pressure to release those points.
Philosophy on Healing: I believe that a balanced mind, body and spirit allows freedom, relaxation and possibility to emerge. Creating that balance in ourselves is always one of the goals in healing.
We asked our Therapists to describe their style and this is what they had to say for themselves: I love the individuality of each session with each client. Each person prefers different touch to achieve their health goals, and I like the challenge of creating that unique session experience - while still maintaining balanced pressure and a relaxing flow. That being said, I can provide the relaxation of soothing touch, deep pressure work or anything in between.
Ceciley | LMT
Education: Granby JR/SR High School, STCC Massage Therapy Program
Favorite Massage Modalities: the atmosphere, rewarding experiences, the release of pain, Deep Tissue work.
Philosophy on Healing: I believe the key to healing is consistency and moving forward.
We asked our Therapists to describe their style and this is what they had to say for themselves: Soothing flow, drawn to the muscle injury, "pinpointing" the pain, with a strong but light touch.
Mark | LMT
Education: Western New England College BSBA Springfield, MA, The Massage School Easthampton, MA Certified/Licensed in MA, Certified in Hands/Feet Therapy New England Institute of Reflexology, Cape Cod, MA, Central Connecticut Tai Chi Ch'wan Certified Reiki Master
Favorite Massage Modalities: Therapeutic Massage, Reiki, Reflexology
Philosophy on Healing: As healers we must put forth all of our heart and knowledge into our massage therapy. We must listen to our clients and our hands to provide the best massage we can.
We asked our therapists to describe their style and here's what they had to say for themselves: I like to incorporate my many modalities into a therapeutic massage based on the clients need. My ultimate goal is to provide my clients with deep relaxation and healing.
Abbi | LMT
Education: I have a Bachelor of Art from Bennington College in Bennington, VT, Reiki 1 Certification and graduated in November 2011 from The Massage School in Easthampton, MA.
Favorite Massage Modality: I love deep tissue work, thai yoga massage and shiatsu.
Philosophy on Healing: Every body is different and has it's own particular needs for healing itself. There is a strong mind-body connection that must be aligned to allow this healing to happen. I love working with both hands-on and energy work to help this take place.
We asked our therapists to describe their style and this is what they had to say for themselves: I love giving medium to deep massage incorporating trigger point therapy and stretching. I try to listen to the body I'm working on to be able to provide the best massage and help my clients find better comfort in their own bodies on their ways to better health.
Crystal | LMT
Education: Bachelors of Science in Business Administration from University of Hartford (West Hartford, CT). Diploma from Branford Hall Career Institute (Springfield, MA) for Massage Therapy. Currently licensed in Massachusetts for Massage Therapy.
Favorite Massage Modalities: Swedish, Deep Tissue, Sports Massage
Philosophy on Healing: Healing is something that must come from the heart and soul. If the healer is only in it for the financial aspect, then they are in it for the wrong reasons.
We asked our Therapists to Describe their own style and here's what they had to say for themselves: My style is Swedish/relaxation that I can incorporate Deep Tissue into (if that's what the client is looking for). I can also do a Sports style massage. My pressure is moderate to deep. Neck, upper back, shoulders, and low back are my specialty areas.
Jennie P. | LMT

Katelynn | LMT

Favorite Massage Modalities: I can do deep tissue or swedish massage if light touch is required for relaxation.
Philosophy on Healing: Everything has to flow and be grounded.
We asked our therapists to describe their style and this is what they had to say for themselves: I like to start at the head. I feel it is a good place to start. Clients love to get their back done so I think I save the best for last.
Shauna | LMT
Education: Graduated from Brandford Hall in 2009 for Massage Therapy
Favorite Massage Modalities: Swedish, Deep Tissue, Reflexology
Philosophy on Healing: I believe in personal wellness, taking the time for the mind and body to be one using calming breaths. Taking time for yourself is very important. Anything that helps to increase blood flow and remove toxins is a great benefit.
We asked our therapists to describe their style and this is what they had to say for themselves: I have a flowing Deep Tissue style that can include quite detailed work on specific areas of the body including knotts and tense areas. I usually spend time on the hands and feet, since most people tend to hold tension there. Helping to release stress in those areas can assist in relieving tension in other areas of the body as well.
Tina | LMT
Education: The Massage School, Easthampton, MA
Philosophy on Healing: Massage is a way to maintain health in an organic way.
We ask our therapists to describe their style and this is what they had to say for themselves: Being a graduate of Easthampton Massage School and a yoga practitioner, I provide therapeutic massage to maintain health in an organic way using moderate to deep pressure to release tension in muscles. I can tailor a massage to focus on a specific area or provide a full body massage, including swedish massage, deep tissue, and foot reflexology.
Daymen | LMT
Education: I graduated Magna Cum Laude from Remington College Massage Therapy program in San Diego, CA.
Favorite Massage Modality: Swedish, Deep Tissue, Pre-Natal, Hot Stone, Chair, Sports Massage and Reflexology.
Philosophy on Healing: I believe that massage and bodywork promote healing and wellness from the inside out. Many people today medicate from the outside in especially for pain and stress. Massage and bodywork are an excellent compliment, not alternative to modern medicine. Plus it just feels good to get a massage.
We asked our therapists to describe their style and this is what they had to say for themselves: I like to incorporate a combination of modalities. Using Swedish, Deep Tissue, stretching and other techniques as each particular client calls for. Treating each individual with the most relaxing and effective method or methods possible. Overall I strive to create a relaxing, no stress experience, aiming to leave each client with an increased sense of wellness.
Katerina | LMT

We asked our therapists to describe their style and this is what they had to say for themselves: I listen carefully to each client and tailor my massage to best help them let go of stress and muscular tension. I enjoy specific work such as injury rehabilitation and addressing chronic pain conditions. I incorporate aspects of stretching, myofascial work, trigger point work and deep tissue into a smooth massage flow that gives you the immediate relief from pain and tension.

Philosophy on Healing: I believe in balance in achieving a stress free life. Now more than ever we are busy focusing on our jobs, homes, families, and everything else. The mind and body deserve some down time. Having your therapist release the built up tension in your body through massage and giving the mind time to rest and relax can have a very profound effect on your life and leave you with a more clear and positive outlook.
