Rebecca  |  Biography

Education: Erwin technical center Tampa FL. 750 hours.

Specialties or Training: Precision neuromuscular of the Upper extremities as well as knee, lower leg and foot, Trigger Point, Deep Tissue, Lomi Lomi Hawaiian massage, also I am studying PNF Stretching,

Favorite Massage Modalities: Deep Tissue and trigger point. I specialize in shoulder work.

Philosophy on Healing: Never give up. The problem isn't that there are no answers but that there are so many answers that it can take time to find the right one. The key is when you find something doesn’t work, try another approach. Don’t keep trying to fit a round peg through a square hole.

Exceptional Results:  I had a client who hadn't been able to sleep for days due to low back pain. I checked the QLs first and any slight touch would cause a spasm and pain. Instead of trying to wrestle it down I took another approach. Sometimes treating the muscles that affect the one in spasm can be an indirect way to treat the one that’s bothering him. This indirect method is usually much less painful and more effective since often the reason a muscle tightens up is due to another muscle that is too tight.  I went to his glutes/hips and found they had some trigger points that referred to his low back, they were tender but not as painful as the QLs. After working the trigger points in his glutes, I returned to his QLs without any muscle spasm and pain.

Marcus  |  Therapist

Education: Northwest Noetic School of Massage

Specialties or Training: Deep Tissue, Hot Stone, Swedish, Trigger Point Therapy, Sports Massage, Craniosacral Therapy, Prenatal Massage

Favorite Massage Modalities: Deep Tissue

Philosophy on Healing: To be aware of what your body needs and doesn’t need. Treat your body like a temple.

Exceptional Results: A client had severe pain in his right shoulder. He had been having difficulty raising his right arm above his chest. His treatment plan included: deep tissue massage with trigger point therapy and self-massage of the area twice a day for 3-5 minutes, and ice for 15 minutes after the massage. After 3 weeks we were able to cut back to twice a month. He is now able to raise his arm above his chest without pain.

Annie  |  Therapist

Education:  Graduated Healing Arts Institute in 2005

Specialties or Training: Hot Stone, Pre-natal, Deep Tissue, Sports, Trigger Point, and Oncology massage

Favorite Massage Modalities: Hot Stone, Deep Tissue, and Trigger Point

Philosophy on Healing: I believe that the body’s natural state is one of wellness and that each individual has the ability to reach that

Exceptional Results: Anytime a client leaves feeling better then when they came in I consider that a great result. Some of the most satisfying results I have witnessed have been when a client has limited range of motion in an area, such as neck or arm, and after 55 minutes they have that range of motion restored. Seeing their relief and their body cooperating is amazing to witness.

Favorite Massage Modalities: Trigger Point, Swedish and Neuromuscular Therapy.

Specialties or Training: Swedish, Deep Tissue, Trigger Point Therapy, Pre-natal, Shiatsu Therapy, and Hot Stone

Favorite Massage Modalities:  Swedish, Deep Tissue, Trigger Point Therapy, Pre-natal, and Shiatsu Therapy

Philosophy on Healing: I believe that a person should be viewed as a whole being not just their symptoms. Healing practitioners must keep the emotional, mental, and physical well-being in mind when perusing treatment options.

Exceptional Results: Clients come to me most often complaining of neck and shoulder pain, headaches, and migraine, ranging in intensity from nagging to debilitating. I treat these issues to great success with my personal blend of shiatsu and massage therapy techniques. When clients are cured or are managing their pain, they still return regularly for the notably reduced stress and anxiety they experience while under my care.
